I was invited to participate in a mock flight on southwest airlines this afternoon. We boarded the simulator named “Poolie” I’m told named after Sandy Pool – the original training instructor at SWA – they are very sentimental and celebrate good people around here as evidenced all over the hallways. The simulation was clearly looking to get feedback on new seating southwest is considering on offering on future flights – more comfortable, yes. This was my first visit to Southwest HQ and it’s very colorful place – I feel as if I better understand the famous Southwest corporate culture now that I studied in business school. We are about to begin our decent and it’s getting bumpy so I better go!

Social House relocated to Addison yesterday! Located in the soon to be redeveloped Village on the Parkway near Blue Mesa and Kenny’s Italian. Social House had a following in the prior West Village location – very popular with the SMU kids near the Lemon Bar. The new location is single story and has a very nice finish-out, come check out their 50 beers on draft in addition to the full service bar… Tiffany mixes a great shot!
